Interreg VIa Deutschland-Nederland project BiCoNet.
Een innovatief project dat tot doel heeft MKB-bedrijven te ondersteunen bij het implementeren van kunstmatige intelligentie (AI) om bedrijven duurzamer te maken, te moderniseren en hun CO2-Footprint te verbeteren.
Het BiCoNet project met partners als Moduco GmbH, Vepa the furniture factory, Hanzehogeschool Groningen, Genossenschaftsverband Weser-Ems, Alfa-college/Rijnland Instituut, Grafschafter Volkbank eG en Stichting Grondstoffen Collectief Nederland heeft als hoofddoel het ontwikkelen van duurzame businessmodellen voor het MKB in de maakindustrie door middel van AI.
Het grensoverschrijdende partnerschap van vier onderwijsinstellingen en vijf MKB-projectpartners, ondersteund door een projectbudget van 6,9 miljoen euro, onderstreept de inzet van BiCoNet om duurzaamheid en AI te koppelen. Het project zal ook 9 MKB-bedrijven betrekken via proefprojecten en informatiebijeenkomsten organiseren om het gebruik van AI voor duurzaamheid te delen met meer dan 1.000 bedrijven, waardoor de regionale en grensoverschrijdende samenwerking voor bedrijven wordt versterkt.
Project BiCoNet wordt uitgevoerd in het kader van het Interreg VI-programma Deutschland-Nederland (https://deutschland-nederland.eu/nl/) en wordt met 6,9 miljoen euro medegefinancierd door de Europese Unie, het Nederlandse Ministerie van Economische Zaken (EZK), MWIKE NRW en MB Niedersachsen, alsmede de provincies Groningen, Fryslân, Drenthe, Flevoland, Overijssel, Gelderland, Noord-Brabant en Limburg.
