The Food Tech and Bioengineering lab at Tallinn University of Technology (TalTech) is committed to developing sustainable solutions in the bioeconomy sector. Launched in January 2021 and led by Professor Petri-Jaan Lahtvee, the lab specializes in bioinformatics, metabolic engineering, and bioprocess optimization, including the innovative use of 3D printing for creating living materials.
