Created on January 17, 1994, the Bureau Interprofessionnel des Vins du Centre (BIVC) is an association responsible for the promotion and communication for the Centre-Loire wineries. The eight vineyards of the Centre-Loire are located in the heart of France, on the hillsides of the Loire and Cher valleys. Comprised of over 13,000 acres, spread over the departments of Cher, Indre, Nièvre and Loiret, the Centre-Loire includes the famous AOPs of Sancerre, Pouilly Fumé, Pouilly-sur-Loire, Menetou-Salon, Quincy, Reuilly, Coteaux du Giennois and Châteaumeillant. THE OBJECTIVES OF THE BIVC INCLUDE: Promotion and communication Representation and defense of the AOC Monitoring production statistics Defining marketing and payment conditions and the quality of promotion Collective communicating in France and abroad Monitoring downstream quality
