It is appropriate that Black Label was conceived at a secluded beach within the Mercury Islands in the
Coromandel region of New Zealand where founder Tania Stoyanof and some close friends spent the day floating in the gentle water at a private bay, cooking freshly caught Abalone and Scallops, stopping in their pleasure craft to collect along the way, and washed down with fine local wine.
