Blisc erasmus + email format

BLISC is the acronym of “Blended Learning In Social and Care”. It is an international project which has been awarded an Erasmus+ grant and involves 4 educational institutions in Europe and one in Canada: Collège communautaire du Nouveau- Brunswick, ERTS Olivet France, Artide & Antartide, Future Focus Ltd and IEPSCF Evere-Laeken. The object of this partnership is to research, exchange practices and develop outputs around the subject “Reinforce accessibility to adult education: integration of blended learning in social and care field of study”. Blended learning is an educational approach which combines online educational materials and opportunities for interaction online with traditional place-based classroom methods. This approach has already been implemented in our schools within several departments but the present goal is to develop it in the fields of social and care departments. This partnership takes place over two years, and we must produce several outputs linked to the implementation of online learning within schools: a handbook, a training for staff, a training for learners and a series of videos to be used in the classroom. During those two years we will have the opportunity to meet our partners in different occasions. Since the IEPS Evere-Laeken are the leaders of the project, the kick-off meeting took place in Brussels in October 2019 and was a big success. We have already made big steps forward whilst getting to know each other and spending quality time in our beautiful European capital. We are very happy and proud of this accomplishment and we look forward to the development of this project. The next meeting will take place in Orleans in March 2020, followed by Canada in October, and then Malta and Italy in 2021.
