O Bottom Up é um projeto social voltado para o desenvolvimento de crianças e jovens vulneráveis das favelas do Rio de Janeiro. Nossa missão é reverter o contexto de desigualdade presente em suas vidas a partir da ampliação de suas visões, possibilidades e percepções do mundo.
Fomos criados vencendo um concurso do Departamento de Estado dos EUA para jovens líderes e hoje trabalhamos com uma metodologia inovadora aplicada em 15 lições durante 7 semanas na forma de três módulos educacionais: Relações Internacionais e Cidadania, Liderança e a Importância do Inglês.
Bottom Up transforma a vida daqueles que são o futuro do nosso país através de uma equipe de 22 voluntários de várias universidades distribuídas em 7 setores administrativos.
Nosso objetivo é impactar um número crescente de alunos que se enquadram nessa realidade ao mesmo tempo em que qualificam e aprimoram nossa equipe que tem professores americanos da Fulbright.
Juntos, estamos unidos pelo mesmo objetivo: transformar o Brasil através da educação, o instrumento mais importante para alcançar a transformação.
Bottom Up is a Social Project that focuses on the development of vulnerable children and youth from the Rio de Janeiro favelas. Our mission is to reverse the context of inequality present in their lives from the broadening of their visions, possibilities and perceptions of the world.
We were created by winning a US State Department contest for young leaders and today we work from an innovative methodology applied in 15 lessons during 7 weeks in the form of three educational modules: International Relations and Citizenship, Leadership and the Importance of English .
Bottom Up transforms the lives of those who are the future of our country through a team of 22 volunteers from several universities distributed in 7 administrative sectors.
Together, we are united by the same goal: to transform Brazil through education, the most important instrument for achieving transformation.
