Bright Move is the valorization* investment fund for creating impact in the strategic areas: High Tech Systems and Materials, Energy, Health and Smart Materials. Other areas with technical innovations are also welcome for our support. Bright Move is situated in the Brainport region in South-East Brabant (NL). Our mission is supporting innovative high-tech entrepreneurs with their start-up to realize their ambitious dreams.
Bright Move supports innovative high-tech start-ups by:
- scouting and screening activities for valorization;
- building viable business cases;
- early stage financing;
- incubation activities;
- it's network function connecting ‘launching customers’ to the start-ups.
Bright Move supports knowledge transfer of knowledge institutions to high-tech companies with R&D activities (and vice versa) by ao establishment of ‘Living Labs’. In these 'Living Labs' collaboration between researchers, start-ups and market companies is intensified to bridge the extreem difficult gap of the (conceptual) development phase to the next phase with an acceptable risk level i.c. avoiding delay, failure and other problems. We stimulate entrepreneurship by pursuing activities within knowledge institutions with the goal to commit students in an early stage to become an entrepreneur.
Bright Move is founded by Eindhoven University of Technology, Fontys, Brabantse Ontwikkelings Maatschappij and Brainport Development. Bright Move is a.o. supported by a professional team of business developers, patent experts, financial experts, management experts, an extensive and experienced Board of Directors and committed share- and stakeholders.
