Bright Start Specialised Early Learning Centre offers a safe, nurturing, and educational space for children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), global developmental delay (GDD) and children with additional support needs. It is the only dedicated centre for children on the Sunshine Coast that combines daycare with intensive one-to-one early intervention therapy. The specialised team includes qualified Early Childhood Educators and highly experienced therapy assistants. They also have a psychologist/board-certified behaviour analyst (BCBA) and a speech pathologist. Bright Start embraces the uniqueness of each child and take a strengths-based approach to therapy. Supporting active learning and encouraging hands-on investigation, Bright Start promotes that ‘Play’ is the key way that children learn and develop. And they believe that ‘Play’ is the most natural teacher of all.
