Bristol Payji is all about revolutionising the online payment landscape to put the people of Bristol first.
Our platform is fully regulated by the FCA and works just like any bank account. The only difference is that we save local businesses’ money by preventing them from paying huge transaction and processing fees to faceless global corporate entities.
Did you know local businesses accepting card payments can pay up to 3% in transaction fees and may have to wait up to 5 days before receiving their funds? In Bristol, the annual spend is around £15 billion. If we assume half of this is made by card payments, this means that up to £225 million are estimated to leave Bristol every year in fees charged by external parties.
That is why we are here to flip this around and change things for the better. Together, we can save local businesses in Bristol more than £30 million per year. Enabling them to make more money from each sale and have a stable cash flow to thrive through challenging times.
On top of this, we have created the UK’s first city pot to help give back to our local communities! This is because 0.25% of each sale made through Bristol Payji will be kept inside Bristol’s ecosystem, aka the ‘Bristol City Pot’.
We are proud to have created a system that can produce real change for local charitable organisations and communities in need! By being a Bristol Payji user - YOU take control of your payments and dictate how the city pot is spent.
