De Broedmachine is een plek waar starters het hele jaar door terecht kunnen om te experimenteren en te maken. In het gebouw vind je een gedeelde werkplaats, oefenruimtes en een flexwerkplek. Iedereen die mee wil doen wordt lid van de vereniging Broedmachine. De basisbeginselen van de Broedmachine zijn techniek, innovatie, cultureel ondernemerschap, eigen initiatief en het delen van kennis. Jonge mensen met een goed idee en ambitie kunnen hier proberen, uitvinden en samenwerken met ervaren machinebewoners en mentoren.
In de toekomst verwachten we optredens, exposities en bijeenkomsten in de Broedmachine te kunnen houden. Op korte termijn zijn er ambities voor een winkel, horecagelegenheid en andere openbaar toegankelijke plekken. Ons meerjarenplan is om het gebouw op te knappen, te transformeren en zelfvoorzienend te worden. We willen onze plek op de meubelboulevard beter, mooier en leuker maken. Het voornaamste doel is om een plek aan te bieden waar jonge mensen terecht kunnen om hun eigen ambities waar te maken.
