BRON Campus initieert, ontwikkelt en realiseert producten, services en processen gericht op het verbeteren van de oncologiezorg voor patiënten en hun omgeving.

BRON vertaalt de behoefte naar een waarde propositie en verbindt bedrijven, kennisinstellingen en patiënten om in co-creatie een innovatie tot een succes te maken.
Drie programmalijnen
Via gesprekken, werkbijeenkomsten en interviews met de verschillende participanten zijn drie programmalijnen geselecteerd waarbinnen projecten worden gestart.
• SMART Diagnostics – geïnformeerde patiënt: het diagnose pad wordt snel en zorgvuldig ingericht en patiënten beslissen goed geïnformeerd met de arts over het behandelplan.
• (P)reActivate: patiënten verbeteren voor en na behandeling hun conditie met augmented en virtual reality als extra stimulans, gericht op een sneller herstel.
• Remote Control/Ziekenhuis verplaatste zorg: veilig op afstand behandelen door monitoring en toediening op afstand.
In de nabije toekomst zal de innovatieportfolio verder uitgebreid worden.
Breda: startpunt voor (inter)nationale herkenning
Breda is gekozen als knooppunt voor nieuwe ontwikkelingen op basis van de aanwezige farmabedrijven, zorginstellingen, de aandacht voor zorglogistiek, en de aanwezigheid van relevante kennisinstellingen.
In de opstartfase richtte BRON zich op Brabant. De ambitie is om uit te groeien tot een virtuele (inter)nationale campus .
