우리는 몰디브에서 스쿠버다이빙을 하며 해양 환경오염의 폐해를 목격하였습니다. 평소 충전 기술의 불편함을 인지하고 있었기에 바다 속 수많은 충전기, 어댑터 폐기물이 가장 눈에 띄었습니다. 모든 전자 제품을 충전할 수 있는 기술을 개발하면 충전기의 양을 획기적으로 줄여 전자 폐기물의 감소에 일조할 수 있겠다고 생각했습니다. 일상 속 편의와 기술적 상생을 모색하여 하나의 충전기로 모든 전자 제품을 충전할 수 있는 세상을 만드는 것이 환경 보호를 위한 우리의 작은 몫이라고 믿으며, 브로나인은 달려가고 있습니다.
우리는 충전기와 어댑터의 기능을 동시에 할 수 있는 기술 개발에 착수하여 VOLKIT을 만들어내었습니다. 기술 개발 성공 후 제품의 생산과 상용화를 위하여 2020년 브로나인을 설립하고 2021년 첫 제품을 출시하게 되었습니다. 앞으로도 우리는 모두가 단 하나의 충전기로 Minimal Charging Life를 실현하는 사회를 구축하여, 전세계 전자폐기물의 혁신적인 감소를 위해 끊임없이 나아가겠습니다.
