Een vrijgevestigde psychologiepraktijk voor zorg in de BGGZ voor volwassenen.
Werkwijze
Bij aanvang van de therapie zullen we samen onderzoeken hoe we jouw klachten het beste kunnen begrijpen en overleggen we de verschillende therapie mogelijkheden. Ik leg de nadruk hierbij op het geblokkeerde (mentale)proces dat weer op gang gebracht mag worden, zodat jij jouw richting/weg/waarheid/pad weer kan vinden en weer regie ervaart over jouw leven. In de therapie focus ik expliciet niet alleen op de psychische klachten (de symptomen), maar op jouw algehele welzijn in termen van gezondheid, welbevinden en geluk.
Ik werk o.a. met de volgende behandelmethode; Emotional focused therapy (EFT), Schematherapie, EMDR, Cognitieve gedragstherapie en maak gebruik van de kennis vanuit de Polyvagaal theorie. In de afgelopen jaren heb ik me steeds meer gespecialiseerd om onderliggend trauma (in de brede zin) te kunnen behandelen.
In mijn benadering ben ik betrokken, steunend en ga ik uit van gelijkwaardigheid/medemenselijkheid. Ik vind het belangrijk om degene met wie ik werk te stimuleren zichzelf (als mens) te begrijpen, meer compassie voor zichzelf te ontwikkelen, de eigen authenticiteit te (her)vinden en vanuit daar regie te kunnen voeren over eigen leven.
