Stichting BRADWOLFF PROJECTS is een experimenteel platform voor hedendaagse kunst, opgericht door curator Christine van den Bergh in 2011. Samen met kunstenaars en gastcuratoren, in nauwe samenwerking met kunstinstellingen en onderzoeksinstituten worden hedendaagse kunstprojecten ontwikkeld en uitgevoerd.
BRADWOLFF PROJECTS programmeert kunstpresentaties die op basis van artistiek onderzoek tot stand komen en gekenmerkt worden door engagement en esthetiek. Een deel daarvan zijn in situ gerealiseerde transformaties van de ruimte, die weer de context vormen voor andere makers. Centraal staan drie thema’s: identiteit, landschap en ecologie, die alle betrekking hebben op menselijk gedrag en de omgangsvormen met de leefomgevingen. Werk met een politieke inhoud, kunst die een sterke visuele, sensorische en esthetische ervaring teweegbrengt. We zijn van mening dat kunst een belangrijke bijdrage levert in het onderzoek naar onze omgangsvormen.
BRADWOLFF PROJECTS organiseert deze gesprekken om in de complexiteit van onze tijd onze tijdgeest te duiden en het onderlinge begrip te vergroten, waardoor er ruimte en animo kan ontstaan voor nieuwe inzichten, denkbeelden en initiatieven. Gesprekken in interdisciplinaire gezelschappen van makers, (PhD) onderzoekers, beschouwers en publiek zijn daarbij onmisbaar, evenals lokale, nationale en internationale contexten en in samenwerking met bijvoorbeeld kunstinstellingen in Indonesië, Japan, Colombia en Argentinië.
BRADWOLFF PROJECTS organiseert naast elke tentoonstelling samen met de kunstenaar een publiek randprogramma, met bijvoorbeeld artist talks, artists meetup’s, art dinners, lezingen, workshops, performances, muziek events, publicaties en educatieve programma’s.
BRADWOLFF PROJECTS art dinners zijn een terugkerend onderdeel tijdens een tentoonstelling. Aan tafel gaat een gesprekspartner (bijv. een curator, criticus of filosoof) met de kunstenaar in gesprek over het werk. En natuurlijk met alle andere tafelgenoten.
