Architectuur Met De Gebruiker Centraal
In 2010 werd Buro Buurman opgericht door architect ir. Harry H.G.W. Buurman. Voor de oprichting deed hij ervaring op in zowel restauratie, renovatie als nieuwbouw bij onder andere Noorlag en De Jong Architectuur te Utrecht , waar hij werkte aan diverse restauratie- en renovatieprojecten.
Door zijn opleiding Bouwkunde te beginnen aan de Hogeschool van Utrecht en vervolgens af te ronden met een Master Architectuur aan de TU Delft , ontwikkelde hij een brede kennis van zowel de bouwtechniek als het architectonisch ontwerpen.
In de periode van oprichting tot heden heeft Buro Buurman een groot netwerk van samenwerkingsverbanden met constructeurs, bouwfysisch adviseurs, tuinarchitecten, bouwtechnisch tekenaars, interieurarchitecten en collega architecten ontwikkeld. Zo kan specifieke kennis op de juiste plek in worden gezet.
Oprichter ir. Harry H.G.W. Buurman geeft sinds 2010 partime les op de faculteit Bouwkunde van de Hogeschool Utrecht, waar hij zijn kennis deelt met een nieuwe generatie studenten en waar hij een klankbord vindt voor zijn ideeën in zowel collega’s als studenten.
Met een reeds divers portfolio is Buro Buurman in staat om op iedere schaal, van verbouwing tot volledige nieuwbouw, een passende architectonische oplossing te vinden. De belangrijkste input voor het architectonisch ontwerp is hierbij de opdrachtgever en de context van de opgave. Die persoonlijke aanpak, waarbij in de huid wordt gekropen van de eindgebruiker, is mogelijk dankzij de vlakke organisatie en de kleinschaligheid van het bureau.
Op deze manier proberen we een gebouw te ontwerpen waar iedereen zich thuis voelt.
