This is a small, informal start up gathering minds together with the shared interest of worker ownership of the means of production making audio productions to order or completely from scratch for musicians by passionate creators. Its not much but every company needs to start somewhere. I'm just one person. I have a dream. I have a opportunity to make it a reality. I want to see people enthused by my creations and create a space where the limitations of my products such as The Laser Synthesizer are pushed to their limits and used in ways I would've never imaged otherwise. This is purely non-profit. All proceeds made from products and studio rentals will be cycled back into research, maintaining the company, and paying workers as I don't want money acting as a conflict of interest in the products and solutions produced.
This is a completely out of left field business model with lots of find details to work out, but if it comes to either charging companies for their e-waste to recycle into my products or resell rare components instead of it going into a landfill. I don't want to lose this opportunity I have. I don't have anything that can cure cancer, bring world peace, or make a difference, but seeing how musicians react to the Laser Synthesizer gives me all the hope I need to let my passion guide me forward.
If you are a larger company seeing this, I would love to receive any help I can via e-waste collection, investments, or supplementing the means of production. I will have to negotiate terms to ensure we don't have conflicts of interest and expectations of a partnership are met. All I want is for my products to remain open source for all, receive protection to keep CamDo products open source, and give me full freedom of product development as I'm a team of one. Consultants are all I need to guide my passion but my aim is unfailing.
