Utilising supply chain information within Every Asset, we are able to develop a complete carbon footprint measuring service for every product and service provided in the world. With the power of people, it is possible to persuade organisations to disclose the overall carbon count for their products and services, allowing people to make an informed choice over which products and services they purchase and use.
We have developed both a web platform and mobile app which connects to Every Asset and other exposed API’s to provide people with the ability to know exactly what their footprint is and take control to better our environment. The app can connect to Bluetooth self-scan services in shops or scan the unique QR codes of products at purchase time. It will calculate the overall carbon spend so the user can choose other products in order to lower their footprint. This can extend to car journey / public transport use and other daily services utilised by people. An example would be for a person to make an informed choice on which airline to use through being informed of the journey footprint.
