Why many hire me (Permanent/Freelance) - based on my experience & skills: • I have over 20 years of product design experience. My Master in Industrial Design Engineering enabled me to evolve from a Product Designer into e.g. a Programmer, Manager, and UX Designer, to think holistically, and to consider Ergonomics, Aesthetics, Commerce and Engineering in everything I do. • I understand visual design & interaction. I was Mindscape's Artistic Director, and led design projects for the BBC. I always design interactive wireframes with meaningful animations that clarify the relationships between screens and screen features (many others focus on static designs). • I always 'think ahead' and create solutions for all kinds of scenarios, thanks to my 10-years of coding ‘if-else’ situations (many others only focus on 'best case scenario'). • I communicate & present clearly, with spoken, written & well-illustrated text, and videos of my demos. I speak 5 languages, speak at events, and understand what & how to communicate to programmers & managers, having been one myself. • I’m an expert in creating animated & interactive wireframes, demos & prototypes, and also deliver market & user research, user journeys, storyboards, user/info/process flows, site maps (indicating: planned/in progress/signed-off), marketing material, icons, product/innovation strategies & roadmaps, etc. I’m hands-on & multi-skilled. • I’ve created a vast range of (multi-screen) products incl. Voice Assistant (Alexa), VR, Watch, TV, Web, Mobile, Tablet, Desktop, CD-ROM & Industrial Products, for small start-ups & renowned brands like Sony. • I've done all kinds of User Research & User Testing, online and on-site, to quickly validate (and refute!) my assumptions & hypotheses with hard quantitative data & insightful qualitative data. • I constantly gather & share best-practise information, and pass my skills onto others, and have led teams of up to 8 people.
