THE FIRM Founded by Artem Golestian in 2009, Cenmill is a full-service design-build firm in the greater Los Angeles area. Our experienced network of designers, engineers and craftsmen share a common commitment of creating value for each client. As design-builders, we have streamlined the building process by cultivating an army of innovators who are able to work and smile together while creating architecture. Our objective is to exceed the needs of the client by giving them a personal experience where no detail is overlooked. To us, the essential purpose of architecture is to create harmonic and beautiful spaces where life happens. DESIGN-BUILD A unique aspect of Cenmill is that we are both designers and contractors. We provide a single source of responsibility from project conception through building occupancy. Information can be lost during the transfer of responsibility. Also, a client can end up in the middle of a conflict in which the designer blames the contractor, and the contractor blames the designer. Design-build allows us to pursue standards of excellence that are difficult to realize in the typical designer/contractor relationship. Because we are a complete design-build and construction firm, we offer project management services for each step of the design-build process, including construction. This allows our clients to avoid the bidding process which usually follows a completed design, and enables us to present them with a finalized construction budget as part of our design-build services. There are no middlemen or third parties, which ensures the highest quality for the most cost-efficient plan.
