The problem we are here to solve We've been around software for over 25 years, and in that time it is our experience that most IT projects fail because of a breakdown in communication between the business client and IT professionals, which can in turn lead to insufficient trust in the solution. Examples of this are: - Client is unable to articulate what is required in sufficient detail to the IT professionals. - IT Professionals are mistrusted in surfacing exacting requirements, the client believing them to be 'landing and expanding’ the project scope, and hence the cost. - Prototyping is seen as expensive and wasteful, and typically avoided, missing an opportunity for both to test their understanding of what is required. All of which builds in risk (and hence contingency costs) for the project, and who ends up paying for this? Certainly the client, but also the IT professionals, as their reputation inevitably suffers, as does that of the IT industry as yet further evidence of IT being delivered late and over budget. With Certainty, this is avoidable and it is our mission to make such issues a thing of the past. In doing these things, it is our belief that we can build a sustainable business with our clients and business partners becoming our best advocates.
