Chakad Teb Adrian Company was established in 2017 under the direction of Dr Nima Jamshidi, a faculty staff of University of Isfahan, Faculty of Engineering, Department of Biomedical Engineering, with the aim of developing orthotics and prosthetics, medical and hospital equipment. In 2017, Chakad Teb Adrian Company has won the title of superior technology for a medical product by the Ministry of Science Research and Technology evaluators at the 18th Annual Tehran Research and Technology Exhibition. Also in 2018, the company was awarded the science-based license from the Science and Technology Vice-Presidency and in November of that year, he received the title of the best entrepreneur from the University of Isfahan for manufacturing orthopedic equipment. At 2019, a new product of company called the polycentric prosthetic knee joint models, were introduced. Subsequently, the production of prosthetic foot named Chakad 2 began. The Chakad 2 has three complicated joints for three-axis movement of the user. Another feature of this prosthetic foot is the outstanding technology used to make it minimize the friction, noise and abrasion during the movement of metal surfaces against each other. With the help of the experts of this company, the technology of producing neurostimulation orthosis was localized to treat foot drop in Iran.
