Chapter Zero Uzbekistan is the first Chapter in Central Asia driving climate governance initiative forward. It is a strategic program implemented in collaboration with the Westminster International University in Tashkent, acting as a host organization, with the full support of the Climate Governance Initiative (CGI).
Our goal is to build a community of non-executive directors and senior leadership and equip them to lead crucial boardroom discussions on the impacts of climate change. Chapter Zero Uzbekistan members will help ensure their companies are fit for the future and that net zero ambitions are transformed into robust plans and measurable action.
We aim to enable members of corporate supervisory and management boards in Uzbekistan to engage in addressing climate change and look for ways to achieve net zero emissions in the coming years. It is a project that meets expectations for elevating sustainable development issues to the highest levels of corporate leadership which impacts our reality and future.
