At CHC Environmental Solutions we provide environmental consultancy services including environmental monitoring, contaminated land, site assessment, hydrogeology, water resource management and environmental impact assessment. Crowley Hall Consulting was founded by Dr. Olivia Hall in 2013 to provide independent professional consultancy services to a wide range of clients in Ireland, the UK and mainland Europe.
Formerly Technical Manager at Regenesis Olivia was responsible for the assessment of remedial feasibility and design. Since joining Regenesis Ltd in 2006, Dr. Hall was involved in the design and support of over 1,800 soil and groundwater clean-up projects globally. These included remediation strategies targeting total petroleum hydrocarbons, chlorinated solvents, pesticides, MtBE etc. in residential, industrial and rural settings and in formations ranging from alluvium to low-permeability matrices, dual-porosity aquifers and fractured rock systems.
Before joining Regenesis, Dr. Hall was a Senior Environmental Scientist in a leading international environmental consultancy where she was responsible for the detailed review, assessment and implementation of a comprehensive range of soil and groundwater remediation technologies and approaches. As part of this role she specialised in risk assessment and established in house generic assessment criteria as well as undertaking Detailed Quantitative Risk (DQRA) modelling using a range of commercial risk assessment tools including CLEA UK and RBCA.
Dr. Hall holds a Ph.D. in enhanced bioremediation of chlorinated solvents from Queens University in Belfast and has lectured in her subject area in both academic and professional fora.
