The CheERS club has been founded in 2016, as a society in an effort to encourage social networking amongst all PhDs and staff (academic and non-academic), thereby bettering knowledge transfer and facilitating a platform for multi-disciplinary engagement within the Department of Chemical Engineering at UCL. The aim of this club will be to plan and organise social events across the calendar year for PhD students and both academic and non-academic staff. This club will work alongside the Ramsay Society to bridge the gap between students and staff/researchers, when possible. The scope of this club is to responsibly plan and implement various events and conduct them in accordance to the regulations set by UCL and the Chemical Engineering department.
