CHEERS4EU wants to accelerate the transition to a circular economy in Europe by focusing on Circular Hubs. The aim of this project is to identify what is key in forming and exploiting a Circular Hub in a specific regional context and then share this with other European regions.
This is done through the exchange of good practices and experiences at interregional level. The participating Circular Hubs and potential future hubs are working together within CHEERS4EU to identify new solutions to challenges regarding multi-helix collaboration, circular value chains and business models, and social impact.
Other European regions can then integrate the successful experiences and policies of the project partners into their own regional circular programs. This strengthens the cohesion within the European Union concerning circularity and ensures longer-term support for Circular Hubs throughout Europe.
CHEERS4EU is an Interreg Europe project for a greener Europe. The project partners are:
