In November 2019, the Algés promenade will welcome the first and biggest Christmas Fun Park in Europe, dedicated to snow and ice, which promises to change Oeiras into the Christmas Capital. This park will have a 6 million euro budget, and a four-year agreement with the Oeiras Municipality. In total, there will be 72 thousand square meters of Christmas spirit, where ice and snow will recreate the magic of Santa's village in Lapland.
Christmas Fun Park will open its doors in December 2019, and throughout Christmas season, visitors will be able to enjoy unique amusements, theme shows or participate in Christmas activities that allow for a unique Christmas experience, to be engraved in people's memories. Furthermore, there will be a Special Christmas Villa, with a strong social mission and a Christmas market that will be accessible to all.
For each entry sold, 1 euro will be donated to social causes by the organization.
Christmas Fun Park is an innovative concept that integrates and combines diferentiating audiences: Familes, Friends, Schools, Social Institutions and Companies. The equipment and activities are of the entire responsibility of both national and international partners, who are working to provide all visitors, regardless of age, ensured fun. Schools and institutions will have a special access program, so that everyone has the opportunity to live through and enjoy the park.
When it comes to companies, they will have a special corporate space to host Christmas events, which will be managed by Casa do Marquês, where they will be able to conduct their events, offering their coworkers and partners an experience that is different from usual, and set in the spirit of Christmas season.
