The Student and Post-docs board (SPB) is an independant, non-political, non-profit association of doctoral students and post-doctoral fellows from the institute of Genetic, Molecular and Cellular Biology (IGBMC), a leading European research center in biomedical research.
As part of our program, we organize several activities including scientific poster sessions, career lunchs and journal club, English and French speaking lunches, social and cultural events.
The events are of highest importance to our institute. They enable valauble scientific exchange and networking opportunities with specialists of various scientific fields within the IGBMC and from other academic institutions, employers and the community. They also provide insights into many carrer opportunities available to young investigators in academic research and industry.
The audiences of our events are mainly researchers from within the IGBMC, but we are also willing to invite scientists from other institutions in Strasbourg and Europe, to increase their appeal and impact.
