In my role in Risk and Governance at Aviva Insurance, I’m particularly passionate about promoting a culture of resilience, responsibility, and continuous learning. This year, I aim to build on the excellent work of our outgoing President, Daley Smith, by continuing to enhance the involvement of PFS members and ensuring a balanced CPD programme that meets the needs of both CII and PFS professionals. I also look forward to introducing more content with a risk management focus—an area that is increasingly vital in today’s evolving landscape.
Community inclusion is at the heart of my presidency. We're proudly supporting Meningitis Now as one of our chosen charities this year, and alongside our various Institute events, I’ll be lacing up my trainers and running to raise awareness and funds. We’re also committed to nurturing future talent by working closely with local universities, schools and colleges to inspire the next generation to pursue rewarding careers in our industry. Further, I'm delighted to share that we'll be continuing to support members across Scotland achieve qualifications with cohort learning under oversight of our Past President, Charlotte Gunnion and in collaboration with the Worshipful Company of Insurers.
