Center of Integration in Learning and Teaching (CILT), a highly ranked and fully chartered institute that seeks to enhance excellence in effective teaching practices for diverse student audiences as part of successful professional careers. CILT consists of vastly experienced local and foreign facilitators, providing training in various disciplines to improve the standard of teaching and school management. We have so far conducted training courses in International Certificate in Medical Teaching (ICMT), Advanced Certificate in Medical Teaching (AdCMT) and International Certificate in University Teaching (ICUT) in 9 cities of Punjab. International Certificate in Medical Teaching (ICMT) ICMT exists to help improve and facilitate active learning and teaching in medical education in Pakistan by promoting practical ways founded on evidence-based principles. Over 1000 medical and dental educators from across Pakistan have taken on our courses that are making a real difference in their classes. Advanced Certificate in Medical Teaching (AdCMT) AdCMT shares the same philosophy as ICMT and is built on the idea of finding the hidden teacher within and helping them through leadership and mentoring. The course also takes the idea of teaching through design and of projects that work in your setting. We are in the process of classifying ICMT + AdCMT as a Diploma in Health Professionals Education, with the collaboration of Shifa Tameer-e-Millat University, that will in due course be recognized by PMDC. International Certificate in University Teaching (ICUT) ICUT extends the CILT vision by promoting active learning and practical ways to improve teaching The foreign faculty has 10 years’ experience in Pakistan and entire careers working in UK, New Zealand and internationally designing and delivering faculty development courses. In time, local facilitators will be trained to ensure local ownership and sustainability.
