Im Citizens-Forests-Projekt engagieren sich Bürger aktiv für den
Klimaschutz. Wir setzen uns dafür ein, ungenutzte Flächen mit heimischen
Baumarten zu bepflanzen. Unser Ziel ist es – aus einem der weltweit
größten Baumschulgebiete heraus – ein bundesweites Netzwerk von
lokalen Aufforstungsprojekten zu etablieren. Aufforstung soll als normale
Aktivität in das gesellschaftliche Leben integriert werden.
𝗪𝗮𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝗿 𝗺𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗻
Auf Grundlage der „Miyawaki-Methode“ bepflanzt der Verein mit
freiwilligen Helfern regionale Flächen und unterstützt und informiert
andere lokale Gruppen bei ihrer Aufforstungsarbeit. Unsere Wälder
gehören zu den natürlichsten und besten Kohlendioxid-Speichern, die wir
auf der Erde haben. Zusätzlich filtern sie Staub und bieten vielen Tierarten
ein Zuhause.

Wir suchen engagierte Menschen, die bei unseren nächsten Aktionen mit
anpacken, sowie Fördermitglieder und Spender, die unsere Vorhaben
finanziell unterstützen. Darüber hinaus sind wir immer auf der Suche nach
geeigneten Flächen für neue Aufforstungsprojekte.
