Codecademy boston chapter email format

Here at the Codecademy Boston chapter, we know that coding, like most things, is better with friends. We all got better as friends as we coded together, and we decided as mentors to give back to our community and give others the chance to code and grow with their community. Mission - As the world becomes more and more technologically advanced, it is essential to have exposure and understand basic computer science concepts. This chapter intends to provide a space for people to get that exposure regardless of academic interests. Purpose - This chapter will be a community for beginner level coders to work together and grow through learning different languages as well as working on different projects together. Schedule - Initially we will be meeting twice a month; however, we can meet more often based on chapter members’ availability. Scope - Currently, this chapter is intended for people in the Boston area as well as other locations in Massachusetts. Our goal is to host & co-host bi-monthly hackathons with other chapters from around America as well as around the world.
