Coders Over Borders is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that has the sole mission of bringing computer science to all.
We work in over 50+ countries, and we have two main missions:
1. Bring computer science education as a must. In today's modern age of computer science, computer science should be given the same amount of importance as other "core" subjects, such as mathematics, in foreign markets. In the United States, computer science is a main subject, but this is not the case in elementary to secondary education markets in Asia and Africa, and we would like to fill in this gap.
2. Teach the "science" in computer science. We want to teach the core fundamentals of computer science, instead of just simply copy and pasting code. We teach the core ideas of computer science, the 'what' and 'how', instead of the why.
