Committed to Ending Abuse (CEA) Ltd support anyone experiencing domestic abuse regardless of age, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, beliefs and race and including “honour based " violence and forced marriage.
We support individuals who choose to remain living with the perpetrator of abuse and those who have left an abusive relationship.
We offer a confidential service and provide emotional support, practical advice and support during crisis, helping with the following:
Clients' and children's safety
Advice and information about domestic violence, legal procedures, coping strategies, safety methods, etc.
Facilitation of decision-making
Supporting with accommodation, legal advice, benefits etc.
Group work and one-to-one support
We also:
Support clients and their children through their experiences
Provide training and development to partner agencies and also provide domestic abuse awareness raising.
We are a registered charity funded by Falkirk Council, Scottish Government, The Big Lottery Fund, Children In Need and Community Safety Partnership Police Scotland.
Our staff are trained to work in this area. Our dedicated team of 12 work in schools, colleges, prison, outreach as well as our offices in Falkirk.
We are accredited by the Care Inspectorate and regulated by The Office of the Scottish Charities Regulator (OSCR).
In addition to being a registered charity Committed to Ending Abuse (CEA) Ltd is a Company Ltd by Guarantee with a Board of Directors who are responsible for the overall direction of the organisation.
