Community Initiatives Concern (CINCO) is a fast growing nonprofit making and grass root NGO which aims at supporting community beneficial initiatives towards building sustainable community development avenues to improving health, social services and environmental protection. CINCO works with communities in identifying solutions to their problems with the overall aim of contributing to the achievement of the Millennium Development goals (MDGs) and Kenya's Vision 2030, supporting the delivery of Kenya Essential Package for Health (KEPH) at level I (Community level) and meeting the Kenya National AIDS Strategic Plan (KNASP III) 2009/10 – 2012/13 (Delivering on Universal Access to Services). We work to support evidenced based community interventions to meet community needs as well as strengthening and streamlining financial management, planning and information systems in the execution of programmes. Our organizational governance ensures the beneficiaries are assured that CINCO as an organization is established on their behalf and is indeed serving their best interests. Projects we undertake are geared towards facilitating communities in undertaking effective and sustainable development initiatives, building effective leadership for development while imparting needed skills and appropriate knowledge to community groups for economic and social empowerment. CINCO works in Kisumu, Kajiado, Siaya, and Mombasa Counties on projects various community projects in health.
