COMPACT has the mission is to empower Local Public Administrations (LPAs) to become main actors of their cyber resilience improvement process. Cyber threats are the most significant and growing risk for public administrations. However, technological, organisational and structural issues hamper the ability, especially for local LPAs to improve their cyber security level. Budget constraints and evolving legal, ethical, societal and privacy regulations render the situation even more complex.
COMPACT’s objectives are to:
• increase awareness, skills and protection;
• foster information exchange between European LPAs;
• link LPAs to major EU initiatives
This project receives funding from the EU_H2020 Research & Innovation Programme under grant agreement 740712.
