El Consejo Nacional de Autorregulación Publicitaria (CONARP) es una entidad sin fines de lucro, cuyo objeto es velar por la libre y responsable comunicación comercial, promoviendo la práctica y el desarrollo de la Autorregulación Publicitaria.
Es árbitro en las controversias que se susciten entre los responsables de la comunicación comercial, que serán dirimidas según los principios éticos definidos en el Código de Autorregulación Publicitaria, en el marco de los estatutos y procedimientos que rigen el CONARP.
No compete a este organismo el análisis de controversias que eventualmente se puedan suscitar en cuanto a propaganda política, gremial o religiosa.
Junta Directiva
La dirección y administración de la Institución están a cargo de una Comisión Directiva compuesta de cinco miembros titulares, representantes de la Cámara de Anunciantes del Uruguay - CAU - y de la Asociación Uruguaya de Agencias de Publicidad - AUDAP-, en su calidad de miembros fundadores.
The National Advertising Self-Regulation Council (CONARP) is a non-profit entity whose purpose is to ensure free and responsible commercial communication, promoting the practice and development of Self-Regulation in Advertising.
It acts as an arbitrator in disputes arising between those responsible for commercial communication, which shall be settled in accordance with the ethical principles defined in the Advertising Self-Regulation Code, within the framework of the statutes and procedures governing CONARP.
This body is not responsible for the analysis of disputes that may arise regarding political, union or religious propaganda.
Board of Directors
The management and administration of the Institution is in charge of a Board of Directors composed of five titular members, representatives of the Uruguayan Advertisers Chamber - CAU - and the Uruguayan Association of Advertising Agencies - AUDAP -, in their capacity as founding members.
