CryoByte's patent-pending hybrid cooling technology offers enhanced cooling capabilities for Bitcoin miners, improving efficiencies and miner lifespan while reducing noise and downtime.
The Hybrid Cooling Advantage
Our CryoBlocks are water cooling blocks that remove up to 95% of the heat generated from the miner. Unlike existing water blocks, CryoBlocks are optimized from the ground up to provide equal water flow and uniform cooling across all chips.
Water can absorb and retain up to 6x more heat than dielectric fluid, making water-based cooling a more efficient choice in performance cooling.
The hot water is then transferred to an adjacent external radiator where nine low power, high efficiency fans remove the heat. The water is pumped back into the CryoBlocks to restart the closed loop cycle.
The external radiator receives over 78% of the overall airflow, reducing the wear and tear of the sensitive hashboards, extending the life of the miner and potentially reducing downtime and maintenance costs.
After the majority of heat is removed via the CryoBlocks and external radiator, a slight breeze is pulled over the hashboards, creating an additional cooling effect. This evens chip temperatures and increases performance as the remaining heat is expelled.
Unlike immersion or hydro solutions, hybrid cooling adds additional air cooling to achieve superior cooling capabilities.
