CubeSat Solutions has the goal of developing, launching and operating low weight satellites offering worldwide turnkey solutions for the small satellite industry. A unique integral low-cost service provider for the construction of small satellites and exploitation of satellite services for any business willing to gain access to orbit.
CubeSat Solutions will build low-weight low-cost satellites and launching vehicles in the categories of Nano-satellites (1 to 10 kg) following the CubeSat design specification; micro-satellites in the 10 kg – 50 kg range; and Sub-orbital launching rocket vehicles. The construction will be undertaken from the company and associated university laboratories, the integration of the satellite will be held at the company's or company partners’ facilities and the launcher will take place at an airport or spaceport to be determined.
CubeSat Solutions will offer an integral service of space solutions, which will comprise every step of the life cycle: from the design and development of the small satellite(s), to its launch, orbit management, and data delivery to the final user. Providing single point of contact, client needs will be determined and a customized solution designed, which then is developed into one or several small satellite systems.
One of the keys for the low development cost is standardization and the use of commercially available, off-the-shelf, technologies (COTS components) but radiation hardened and military-grade parts will be used when needed. Customized orbital platforms for different industries will be developed using different standards. For scientific missions, CubeSat Solutions will provide rapid and affordable means to make important scientific breakthroughs within cost constrained environments.
