Curating for a cause email format

The mission of Curating for a Cause is to create fundraising events for non profits that are based around art. Primarily these events will take the form of art exhibitions/auctions whose proceeds will in part be donated to whatever nonprofit is involved. We aim to not only benefit the non profits but also the artists. We benefit the artists by providing them a space to hang and an immediate audience of potential buyers. The amount we ask them to donate, and the commission we take for hanging is ALWAYS less than a commercial gallery fee. The Purpose: To help non profits raise money while giving artist an opportunity to show and sell work. The business: -Planning events in their entirty so non profits can have a hassel free fundraiser. Curating for a cause will: Establish venue Invite Guests Curate exhibition Store work Hang Work Auction work Arrange payments Arrange shipment/ delivery Prepare contact lists for future events -Creating open calls for art welcoming all levels of artist and curating those submissions into cohesive exhibitions of quality artwork. The Values: Curating for a Cause values non-profits who have clear and relevant ideals and tangible efforts, and established and emerging artists who want to promote their work, and at the same time donate a portion of their proceeds to a worthy cause.
