Seit 2017 wird das Cut to Care als jährlicher Haarespende-Event, der von einem Team Freiwilliger organisiert wird, durchgeführt. Seit dem 22.11.2023 hat sich Cut to Care zu einem Verein weiterentwickelt. Mutige Menschen zeigen ihre Solidarität, indem sie mindestens 30 cm ihrer gesunden Haare spenden. Mit fünf bis acht Zöpfen kann eine vollständige Perücke gefertigt werden. Diese Perücken sind für Menschen bestimmt, die aufgrund von Gesundheitsproblemen ihre eigenen Haare verloren haben, um Wohlbefinden zurückgeben.
Das Ziel: Mit etwas für sich Selbstverständlichem Gutes zu tun.
Professionelle Coiffeusen übernehmen das Schneiden der Haare der Spenderinnen und Spender. Durch ein professionelles Vorher-Nachher-Fotoshooting werden die beeindruckenden Veränderungen dokumentiert. Zusätzlich sorgt das Make-up von erfahrenen Visagistinnen für einen abgerundeten Look.
Unser Wunsch ist es, Frauen ein Stück Normalität zurückgeben zu können, welcher wir uns oft nicht bewusst sind.
