In 1941, when our founder Kwok Sin Song opened his workshop, laying the first foundation brick for the CV.Sepatu SANI that we know today. Crafting hand-made leather footwear in the traditional cobblers of the past, he supported and taught his family the love of the trade. Along with the growth of this home industry, Mientarto Tjahjono one of Kwok Sin Song's sons entered the business. In the year 1979, he become the owner of CV.Sepatu SANI. He expanded, modernized, and flourished the home industry shoe business with the imports of many shoe making machineries from Asia and Europe. In the 1980's, CV.Sepatu SANI produced and supplied leather shoes to Indonesia's local market. Here, where three generations of shoe making experiences has molded and defined CV.Sepatu SANI to its current form, each pair of shoes and sandals are made hand-crafted each day still in the original passion of our founder and beyond, with the additions of new technologies in footwear production. Our hand made footwear are mainly catered for the European and the Southeast Asian market with specialization in the sidestitch construction method. In addition to our main footwear factory we also have a dedicated on-site outsole production facility, established in the year 1985, to further support our main footwear production line. Our outsole facility produces outsole from several kinds of materials such as : Segmented Polyurethane (SPU) , Thermoplastic Rubber (TPR) , and Micrtech (MCT). With great confidence in the people we work with, and with pride in the quality of our products, In the year 1990 CV.Sepatu SANI expanded its production plant to a newly built factory in Asrikaton Village, East Java, approximately 30 minutes from Malang's city center. This new facility has enabled us to further optimized our production capability and finally in 1991, CV.Sepatu SANI opened its door to the export market by its first export shipment of leather shoes to Netherlands.
