Welcome to Chinmaya Vidyalaya, South Park Jamshedpur - This school was taken over from Tata Steel by Chinmaya Mission in April 2001. When the school was taken over there were 17 rooms and classes till Std V. Now there are 44 rooms and we have upgraded till class 12. No. of students has gone up from 500 in 2001 to 1250 in 2019. Digital classroom facilities, three science labs, two Computer Labs, two Libraries, one Maths lab, and a Multipurpose hall have been provided for the students. Besides, academics, we focus on the holistic development of the students by providing extra-curricular and co-curricular activities. The school is equipped with a trained workforce and is regularly sent for various training programs. Chinmaya Vision Programme is the driving force of our Vidyalaya. The students are embedded with such values that help in transforming them and society at large. Teachings of Indian Scriptures and the Indian Value System are a part of our Value-Based Education. The four aspects of the Chinmaya Vision Program are, 1. Integrate Development, 2. Indian Culture, 3. Patriotism, and 4.Universal Outlook. Our Vision - “To train young minds to understand the essence of life”, Our Mission - “To help the children evolve into men and women with outstanding character and achievement”, Vidyalaya Motto-“Keep Smiling”. The school got its CBSE affiliation in the year 2011. Board results are improving every year with 36% students in the distinction category for class 10 and 29% students in the same for class 12.
