Het Corporate Wellness Program (CWP) is in 2020 begonnen als een initiatief om iets te doen aan het bewegingsarmoedig karakter van ons werk.
Het CWP probeert, voor wie daar behoefte aan heeft, te voorzien in bewustwording rondom (on)gezonde aspecten van onze leefstijl op het werk en de voorwaarden te scheppen om gezonde gewoontes te ontwikkelen.
Een gewoonte aanleren kost tijd en moeite en is gebaat bij consistentie. Eenmaal gevormd, dan gaat het automatisch en ben je niet meer afhankelijk van motivatie en wilskracht om dat gedrag vol te houden. Meer bewegen was het eerste gezondheidsaspect waar we aandacht aan schonken.
Het CWP kent vier pijlers. Naast beweging zijn dat ook slaap, voeding en mentale gezondheid.
Jaarlijks worden er ongeveer vier CWP-evenementen georganiseerd, waarbij we in een “friendly competition” samen werken aan onze gezondheid.
