Die „Deutsche Arbeitsgemeinschaft Krankenhaus-Einsatzplanung“ (DAKEP e.V.) wurde am 21.03.2014 in Köln von 41 Teilnehmern im Rahmen des Symposiums „Krankenhausalarmplan“ gegründet.

Schwerpunkt der DAKEP ist die Veranstaltung eines jährlichen Symposiums zum Thema "Krankenhausalarm- und -einsatzplanuing (KAEP) und Risikomanagement".
Ein weiterer Akzent ist die Weitergabe von Informationen und Hinweise auf Fachveranstaltungen oder Veröffentlichungen zu sicherheitsrelevanten Themen in Krankenhäusern.
