DAN AIR is a 100% Romanian airline, founded in 2017 by Captain Dan Iuhas, initially under the name Just Us Air.
The company began by operating ACMI flights (Aircraft, Crew, Maintenance, Insurance) for several internationally renowned airlines, including: Transavia, TUI, Arik, Sund Air, Air Moldova, Air Baltic, Air Serbia, TAROM, Wizz Air, Air Côte d’Ivoire, Jazeera Airways, Animawings, and Blue Bird.
Currently, DAN AIR operates both scheduled flights under its own brand from Bucharest and Bacău, as well as ACMI flights for Romania’s national carrier TAROM and for Blue Bird in Tel Aviv.
Since its founding, DAN AIR has transported over 4 million passengers (including those on scheduled flights under its own brand and flights operated in ACMI or charter mode for other carriers), with an average load factor of 85%.
In 2024, DAN AIR became a member of IATA (International Air Transport Association), the world’s leading aviation organization, aligning with the highest global standards in safety, security, sustainability, and operational efficiency.
