De Eendagsschool is een filosofische leergemeenschap van jongvolwassenen uit het onderwijs, met een nadruk op het beroepsonderwijs.
Wij onderzoeken het individuele voelen en handelen in relatie tot actuele vraagstukken uit de ethiek, politiek en religie. Wij putten daarbij uit de grote geschiedenis en traditie van de filosofie. Onze manier van werken verschilt per gelegenheid. Bij ons gaan filosofie, creativiteit en vriendschappelijkheid hand in hand. De school is een plek waar studenten docent kunnen zijn en andersom. Filosofie voert altijd de boventoon, de behoefte dingen te begrijpen en de wereld te verkennen in zijn oneindige rijkdom – en om soms dus ook de dingen te laten zijn.
De droom van De Eendagsschool is dat ieder mens één dag in de week naar school gaat, niet uit een moeten, maar uit een willen. Daarvoor moet onze deur altijd open staan, online sowieso, maar ook fysiek.
De Eendagsschool richt zich op jongvolwassenen in het bijzonder, maar ook op jongeren in het algemeen. Veel jongvolwassenen hebben het gevoel nog niet genoeg of niet het goede geleerd te hebben. Zij zitten met allerlei persoonlijke, professionele en maatschappelijke vragen die zij verder willen onderzoeken en bespreken.
