Bevordering van het leven, leren, werken en genieten op basis van een goed sociaal fundament en binnen de ecologische grenzen van de planeet. Dat is onze missie. Onze naam is afgeleid van donuteconomie, een nieuwe economisch model ontwikkelt door econoom Kate Raworth die onze missie mogelijk maakt.
Wij doen dit door:

- mensen te inspireren, enthousiasmeren, of ook te confronteren;
- kansen en successen op te tekenen;
- verbindingen tussen betrokken mensen te leggen en te bevorderen.
Hoe zijn we gestart?
Het begon met een droom van sociaal onderneemster Anke Sitter om de donuteconomie op de kaart te zetten. Een festival zou een mooi start zijn om op een gezellige laagdrempelige manier de hele samenleving in contact te brengen met de donut, voor nu en voor onze toekomstige generaties. Al snel had ze veel enthousiasme gewekt om zich heen en ontstond het idee om een stichting op te richten. Zo is de stichting geboren.
16 mei 2025 staat de tweede editie van het Donutfestival op de mooie locatie de Toltuin te Beltrum op de planning.
