Op deze wijze kunnen wij met elkaar de stad Amsterdam mooier maken en de sociale cohesie in de stad versterken.
De Slinger Amsterdam maakt onderdeel uit van De Slinger landelijk. De Slinger landelijk is een onderdeel van De Publieke Zaak (hierna DPZ). DPZ gaat ervan uit dat de 'samen-leving' veel beter kan. DPZ wil daarom als maatschappelijk innovator werken aan een samenleving gekenmerkt door vitaliteit, effectiviteit, openheid en oog voor de menselijke maat. Daarom wil DPZ zoveel mogelijk maatschappelijke spelers inspireren en stimuleren
