After observing the devastating impact on asset values caused by the current ultra-low fixed income yield environment and challenging Solvency II requirements, Deep Blue Asset Protection Group was established to deliver alternatives to traditional investment solutions for our network of Pension, Insurance, and Sovereign Wealth Funds.
Traditional remedies to low fixed income yield often include an increased allocation to the Equity markets. However, the high volatility and potential for losses exhibited by those markets often prove prohibitive. By engaging our extensive network, we successfully identified and in some cases modified several niche but proven investment strategies. Our strategies are designed with our clients’ goals in mind: protecting and growing the savings of Pensioners and the assets of Sovereign Wealth Funds as well as reducing capital requirements of Insurance companies as dictated by Solvency II.
