Digital Economy & Knowledge and Information Society (DEKIS) es un grupo de investigación interdisciplinar de la Universidad de Ávila (España) cuya finalidad se centra en el desarrollo de una investigación orientada al conocimiento de la sociedad digital desde una perspectiva de análisis integral del fenómeno. En particular, se persigue como principales objetivos el estudio de los nuevos modelos productivos y actividades económicas basadas en el aprovechamiento del potencial de las TIC, la innovación y el conocimiento; así como los nuevos desafíos e implicaciones económicas y jurídicas que está originando la disrupción digital en los modelos tradicionales de organización económica y social.
Digital Economy & Knowledge and Information Society (DEKIS) is an interdisciplinary research group of the University of Avila (Spain) whose purpose is focused on the development of research oriented to the knowledge of the digital society from a perspective of integral analysis of the phenomenon. In particular, its main objectives are the study of new production models and economic activities based on the exploitation of the potential of ICT, innovation and knowledge, as well as the new challenges and economic and legal implications that digital disruption is causing in traditional models of economic and social organisation.
